Tamraght is a small Berber fishing village located on a hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean approximately 14 km north of Agadir, 40 minutes north of Agadir airport and 3 kilometers from the better known village of Taghazout.

Geography

Taghazout is a coastal village located in the Agadir region, southwest of Morocco. It is famous for its picturesque beaches. its world-class waves and laid-back vibe. making it a popular destination for surfers from all over the world.

Located on the Atlantic coast: halfway between Agadir and Cape Ghir. This seaside resort has beautiful, extensive beaches. It offers great natural diversity and famous surf spots.

The village of Taghazout has geographic coordinates: 30° 31′ 59″ N, 9° 42′ 00″ W. It is located on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 20.5 km from the city of Agadir, in taking the N 1.

The coast of Taghazout enjoys a climate which bathes the coastline in mild sunshine almost all year round. Precipitation can reach 400 mm per year, or even more on the mountains; showers are generally short but sometimes violent.
