The village of Taghazout has geographic coordinates: 30° 31′ 59″ N, 9° 42′ 00″ W. It is located on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 20.5 km from the city of Agadir, in taking the N 1.

The coast of Taghazout enjoys a climate which bathes the coastline in mild sunshine almost all year round. Precipitation can reach 400 mm per year, or even more on the mountains; showers are generally short but sometimes violent.
